God's hangar on earth or the Devil's bomb shelter?
Just come across this charming piece from Time magazine in 1959 about the Niemeyer Igreja da Pampulha - I didn't know until now that Kubitschek (later Brazil's president) was mayor of Belo Horizonte and commissioned the church/casino/ballroom:
