Adam Sutherland

History

Career Path: Adam Sutherland has been director of Grizedale Arts for the past ten years during which time the organisation has developed from a sculpture park into a socially engaged programme. It works closely with artists and the art world alongside immediate and international small rural farming communities (UK, Japan, China, Europe). Grizedale Arts principle areas of interest are social change and the role of creativity within society - the organisation works with a wide range of people and aesthetics focusing more on the relationships between cultures than on product.
