Career Path
Grainne joined National Glass Centre in 2005 as an associate curator with responsibility for establishing context to deliver a varied and diverse exhibitions programme and leading on the development of the organisation’s exhibition policy. Currently, as Creative Director she leads and directs the management of an international programme of exhibitions, commissions, audience and communications programmes, contributing to the wider ongoing development of the organisation. As an independent curator she has produced collaborative cross-discipline projects and publications with international artists, curators and writers including Bill Drummond, Alec Finlay, Aleksandra Mir, Stefan Gec and Alessandra Pace. She has participated in the Clore Leadership Programme and is currently an Arts Mentor for the Koestler Trust (arts for offenders).
