- Kari Moodie is the Glass Interpretation Officer at Broadfield House Glass Museum, the only dedicated glass museum in the UK, run by Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council. She has worked at the Glass Museum for seven years and, amongst her many duties, is responsible for organising the exhibitions and events programme. She is also on the steering committee of the International Festival of Glass, the UK’s biggest glass-related event.
Kari has a post graduate diploma in Museum Studies and a masters degree in Art History. She has worked for independent and local authority museums and galleries, as an employee and volunteer, and is currently working towards the AMA qualification (Associate of the Museums Association).
Kari is keen to expand her knowledge of contemporary crafts, especially glass, but is also interested in historic European applied and visual arts. She is particularly interested in the display and interpretation of crafts in museums.
