Robert Martin

History

Career Path: Robert Martin is Visual Arts Officer, Crafts at Arts Council England, South East. Trained in ceramics and glass, he has worked in the further and higher education sectors in design education and ran a glassmaking studio and craft gallery for ten years. He has had a number of sector responsibilities in his twelve years at the Arts Council including Education, Cultural Diversity and Disability as well as his current role in delivering the national craft sector developments. Robert is also the ACE representative on the World Crafts Council UK and involved with a number of international craft initiatives.
