Tanya Bryan

History

Career Path: Tanya Bryan is Visual Arts Officer: Design & Public Realm for Arts Council England, North West. She is responsible for the Arts Council’s development of those sectors in the North West of England and for national and regional policy development. Before joining Arts Council England, North West, Tanya worked in the Capital Services department of their national office and as Crafts Officer in the East Midlands office. Prior to working for Arts Council, Tanya spent a number of years in the museum and gallery sector in the North of England and worked for Manchester Art Gallery, Cornerhouse, Henry Moore Institute and Castlefield Gallery, Manchester, where she co-led their capital relocation. Tanya’s work history is based on an MA in Museum and Gallery Studies from the University of Manchester and a BA Three Dimensional Design (Wood, Metal, Ceramics, Glass) from Manchester Metropolitan University.
